Jennifer has been with AMIH since September of 2007. She has several family members with mental
illness and enjoys working with AMIH to secure housing for adults with mental illness. Jennifer is
a licensed real estate agent with over 20 years of property management and accounting experience. She
was appointed the Executive Director in June 2010 and CEO in February 2017.
Don has a Master’s degree in tax and his experience includes corporate accounting, finance executive and CPA with over 30 years of experience. This includes financial reporting, managing, building and advising complex land development, residential development, commercial retail and office building development and operations, not for profit foundations and land conservancy organizations.
Connie joined AMIH after working 14 years for California’s Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Her roles with HCD included managing federal homeless programs, compliance, providing training and technical assistance to stakeholders and writing policy guidelines. Prior to her employment with HCD, she worked 16 years as a personal lines insurance underwriter where she managed large territories of independent agents, and as a marketing representative. She brings an extensive background in grants management, marketing and customer service. Connie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
Vanessa is AMIH’s Director of Peer Services and Housing Coordination. Her role is to oversee our fantastic peers within Placer County’s Adult System of Care, and our team of dedicated Housing Coordinators. Both teams work within the community to aid in our agency’s mission.
Bonifacio Anglada is the current Property Manager for AMI Housing. He has been with AMIH since September 2014, and has watched our company grow. Bonifacio Anglada is the current Property Manager for AMI Housing. He has been with AMIH since September 2014, and has watched our company grow. His current job duties include Coordinating with staff and partner agencies to conduct tenant screenings, coordinate lease signings and move-ins, everything do to with the PSH programs, as well as keeping up to date on all the changes to landlord/tenant laws. He also supervises the Facility Techs, and works with the housing team to coordinate repairs/maintenance and to coordinate, conduct and report on quarterly/annual inspections.
Cathie Foley is the director of AMIH's program: North Tahoe Truckee Homeless Services (NTTHS). She has lived in Truckee since 1991, and deeply believes that the world is a better place when all humans receive access to human necessities, including housing. In 2015 she took on the role of program coordinator for a weather triggered winter shelter, the Emergency Warming Center to open in Truckee. In 2020, AMIH absorbed this small program to help expand support in this region, and NTTHS was created. She is thankful to be part of the larger AMIH mission as our team works to end homelessness, one person at a time and advocate for sustainable support services for our unhoused neighbors

We focus on continuity of stable housing with each client.
Brooke Hegel is AMIH’s Program Manager for Nevada County Transitional, Permanent, and Emergency Supportive Housing, along with the Administer of AMIH’s Adult Residential Facility, Lilac House. Brooke provides support for Service Coordinators and House Monitors. Brooke has worked with AMIH since June of 2023.
Cydnie Perkins is the Program Supervisor for AMIH's Peer Services program, under a contract with the Adult System of Care department of Placer County's Health and Human Services. She oversees 30 Peer Support Specialists who use their lived experience to provide unique interventions within 10 different county-run behavioral health teams.

She also operates the Cirby Hills Wellness Center, several MHSA funded consumer voice programs, serves as a member of the leadership team of Adult System of Care, and leads multiple community event planning committees.
Miles is the Supervisor of Housing Coordination and has been with AMIH since July 2019. His job is to oversee the Housing Coordinators as they assist unsheltered and at-risk clients with housing navigation to find a permanent and stable place to live in Placer and Nevada Counties.
Felicia joined AMIH in June 2020, initially serving as the Front Desk before advancing to the position of HR Manager. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, developing training materials, payroll, facilitating benefit enrollments and supports everything related to employee relations.
Jesse Williams is AMIH’s Director of Housing Services. His role is to oversee the transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing in Placer County. He supervises and provides support to our Service Coordinators, Peer Counselors, and the House Liaisons.
Jason is the Data and Quality Manager; he has been with AMI Housing since 2019 and has been working in the non-profit sector since 2012. He currently oversees our data and reporting department as well as other administrative duties. Along with his role at AMIH, he is the current Board President of the Homeless Resource Council of the Sierras.
Letty is the Director of Sun Rose Apartments and supervises the supportive services to ensure individuals maintain housing despite mental health, substance use, or other behavioral issues. Additionally, she supervises facility maintenance so all individuals and families receive a clean and safe environment to call home and a community to be a part of and thrive in.
Suzi was the Executive Director of the Gathering Inn homeless shelter for eight years. Suzi has served
on the AMIH board for fourteen years.
Jake Baker joined the AMIH board in May 2015. He is the founder and president of Leadership
Solutions, an executive search firm that specializes in securing senior-level talent for companies in the food-manufacturing sector. Before starting his own firm, Mr. Baker served as President and Chief
Operating Officer for a top 100 executive search firm, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Silverado Foods, Director of Marketing at Foodbrands America and National Sales Manager at Heinz USA.
Dean is the owner of Advantage, Print, Marketing & More in Auburn and has served on the AMIH
board since January 2011. Dean has a family member with mental illness and is a passionate advocate.
Tom is a licensed clinical social worker who joined AMIH in February 2011. He has a family member with mental illness and brings a wealth of knowledge from working in the mental health field.
Jamie Wedell is a retired physician with over 30 years of experience. He practiced family medicine and
also provided medical care at Folsom Prison. Jamie joined the board in 2022.
Dave recently joined the Board in 2023. He recently came out of retirement as a Deputy District
Attorney in Sutter County to be the collaborative courts attorney for the Nevada County District
Attorney. In that role he is a team member of the Adult Drug Court, DUI Court and Mental Health
Court. That position has also given him the opportunity to be a founding team member of the Truckee Collaborative Project that is addressing the needs of people with housing, legal and mental health
issues.
Joanne is a past AMIH resident who also worked as a Peer Counselor for many years. She is very active in the local
community securing donations and fundraising for AMIH. She served on the board for fourteen years.
Bill was the Treasurer of Nevada County Housing Development Corporation prior to joining the AMIH board in June of 2017. Owner, Bill Litchfield Construction, Inc. Past President, Nevada County
Contractor’s Association. Member, Nevada County Contractor’s Association. General Contractor since 1976.
