Jennifer has been with AMIH since September of 2007. She has several family members with mental
illness and enjoys working with AMIH to secure housing for adults with mental illness. Jennifer is
a licensed real estate agent with over 20 years of property management and accounting experience. She
was appointed the Executive Director in June 2010 and CEO in February 2017.

Jason has been with AMI Housing since 2019 and has been working in the non-profit sector since 2012. Along with his role at AMIH, he is the current Board President of the Homeless Resource Council of the Sierras.

Lizbeth holds a master's degree in public administration and brings over seven years of experience in the public sector. Her extensive background in grants management and development includes significant contributions to children's advocacy, arts advocacy, public health, food insecurity, and refugee resettlement. In all positions, Lizbeth has recognized the critical importance of addressing mental health within these complex issues in underserved communities. Her dedication to driving impactful outcomes, particularly in tackling housing insecurity, underscores her commitment to fostering positive change and improving community well-being. Lizbeth's work exemplifies her passion for creating sustainable solutions and enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

His current job duties include Coordinating with staff and partner agencies to conduct tenant screenings, coordinate lease signings and move-ins, everything do to with the PSH programs, as well as keeping up to date on all the changes to landlord/tenant laws. He also supervises the Facility Techs, and works with the housing team to coordinate repairs/maintenance and to coordinate, conduct and report on quarterly/annual inspections.

Her team offers support with mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing of each client, effectively working with case managers from the county, and other homeless resources. Brooke Hegel is AMIH’s Program Manager for Nevada County Transitional, Permanent, and Emergency Supportive Housing, along with the Administrator of AMIH’s Adult Residential Facility, Lilac House. Brooke provides support for Service Coordinators and House Monitors. Brooke has worked with AMIH since June of 2023.

She oversees 30 Peer Support Specialists who use their lived experience to provide unique interventions within 10 different county-run behavioral health teams. She

She oversees 30 Peer Support Specialists who use their lived experience to provide unique interventions within 10 different county-run behavioral health teams. She also operates the Cirby Hills Wellness Center, several MHSA funded consumer voice programs, serves as a member of the leadership team of Adult System of Care, and leads multiple community event planning committees.

Miles is the Data and Quality Manager and has been with AMIH since July 2019. His job is to review accuracy of client data and reporting to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Miles is also AMIH's system administrator for HMIS and handles and updates and/or follow-up user-end training, primarily for the Housing Coordination Team!

Felicia joined AMIH in June 2020, initially serving as the Front Desk before advancing to the position of HR Manager. In her current role, she is responsible for managing the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, developing training materials, payroll, facilitating benefit enrollments and supports everything related to employee relations.

Jesse Williams is AMIH’s Director of Housing Services. His role is to oversee the transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing in Placer County. He supervises and provides support to our Service Coordinators, Peer Counselors, and the House Liaisons.

Dean is the owner of Advantage, Print, Marketing & More in Auburn and has served on the AMIH
board since January 2011. Dean has a family member with mental illness and is a passionate advocate.

After receiving a master’s degree in psychology, Suzi was intimately involved in administering drug and alcohol recovery programs. She was the Executive Director of the Gathering Inn homeless shelter for eight years. Suzi has served on the AMIH board for sixteen years, with six of those years as Board President. Suzi has an extensive history in social services and working with the homeless population in Placer County.

Jamie Wedell is a retired physician with over 30 years of experience. He practiced family medicine and
also provided medical care at Folsom Prison. Jamie joined the board in 2022.

Dave recently joined the Board in 2023. He recently came out of retirement as a Deputy District
Attorney in Sutter County to be the collaborative courts attorney for the Nevada County District
Attorney. In that role he is a team member of the Adult Drug Court, DUI Court and Mental Health
Court. That position has also given him the opportunity to be a founding team member of the Truckee Collaborative Project that is addressing the needs of people with housing, legal and mental health
issues.

Bill was the Treasurer of Nevada County Housing Development Corporation prior to joining the AMIH board in June of 2017. Owner, Bill Litchfield Construction, Inc. Past President, Nevada County Contractor’s Association. Member, Nevada County Contractor’s Association. General Contractor since 1976.

Gary has been licensed since 1975 and has been in private practice since then. He also formed a sliding fee scale nonprofit counseling center in 1988. He has worked with the Board of Behavioral Sciences and taught at the graduate level for a number of years. He has also presented seminars in supervision and law and ethics for Placer County. He currently supervises therapists, counselors, and social workers who are in the process of licensure.

Lydia is the Assistant District Attorney of Nevada County who joined the board in 2024. As a criminal justice practitioner, Lydia serves the board with deep appreciation for the services AMIH provides in protecting the most vulnerable members of our community and improving the welfare of the community.

Mark is the Vice President of IT Pro Source, a local It and Cyber security company. Mark has over 35 years of IT experience, is a seasoned leader, and strategic planner. Mark joined the board in 2024.

Jim has extensive knowledge and participation in Placer County history with more than 35 years in local government as President and Director of Placer Consolidated Fire Protection District, President and Trustee of Auburn Union Elementary School District and nearly 20-year member of the Placer County Board of Supervisors. Jim has 30 years as a manager and owner of a small local business.
